Complaints, Appeals and Editorial Grievances

Bali Health Published Journal (BHPJ) seeks to handle complaints and editorial appeals fairly, confidentially and without discrimination. Authors, reviewers, readers and community partners may raise concerns about editorial procedures, professional conduct, conflicts of interest or the handling of published content.

Submitting an Appeal

An author who wishes to appeal an editorial decision should contact the journal through its official contact page, identify the manuscript, and explain the factual or procedural grounds for the appeal. Mere disagreement with a negative evaluation is not, by itself, evidence of unfair process; an appeal should identify a material error or relevant new information.

Review Procedure

The Editor-in-Chief or another editor without a conflict of interest will assess the submission. Where appropriate, additional independent advice may be requested. The journal may uphold, modify or reconsider the editorial decision. An appeal does not automatically lead to acceptance.

Complaints Involving the Editor

If the concern involves the Editor-in-Chief or an unresolved conflict of interest, it should be referred to an appropriate independent representative of the publisher. Allegations of misconduct should follow the Research Misconduct policy.
